Browns LT Dawand Jones (knee) out for season

Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Dawand Jones is out for the remainder of the season with a torn right ACL.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Jones would be placed on injured reserve and spend the rest of the season recovering to be ready to get back on the field next season.
Jones was lost on the opening drive of Cleveland's 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. He started at right tackle in place of Jack Conklin, who has been sidelined since Week 1.
"His injury will require surgery. He's out for the season," Stefanski said of Jones. "Disappointing for him."
Stefanski said the Browns are sending the play in question to the NFL because of the low hit that caused the injury.
On the fourth offensive play of the game for the Browns, Jones was blocking on a screen pass when he was hit low by Packers safety Javon Bullard.
Jones started at left tackle for the first two weeks of the season.
A fourth-round pick by the Browns in 2023 out of Ohio State, Jones has started 20 of his 24 career games.
