Browns Rookie Charged With Attempted Murder

Linebacker Ausar Walcott, signed last month by the Browns as an undrafted free agent, was arrested this morning and charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault, and third-degree endangering an injured victim, according to the Bergen
Around 3 a.m. Sunday, police say, Walcott got into a fight with a man outside a strip club in Passaic, N.J., punching him in the head. There are no further details, but the man remains hospitalized in critical condition. Walcott turned himself in to police today, his bail set at $500,000.
The mug shot above dates from 2011, when Walcott was one of three Virginia players arrested after they sent two men to the hospital. The charges against Walcott would be dropped, though his teammates pleaded guilty to assault.
