Butler's Rotnei Clarke Hit A Wild Buzzer-Beating Three-Pointer To Defeat Marquette In Maui
While the Butler Bulldogs failed to make the NCAA tournament last year after back-to-back national championship game appearances, it seems the Hoops Nation magic hasn't left the tiny squad from Indianapolis. Rotnei Clarke, the embattled Arkansas transfer, erased a two-point Marquette lead at the Maui Invitational with a buzzer-beating three that had no business finding the bottom of the net—and yet it did. Clarke's haphazard and manic dribbling down the court alone makes it a hell of a play. [ESPN2]
