Thomas has missed five games with a left ankle sprain. He has been cleared for increased on-court activity and is expected to rejoin team activities next week.
An MRI confirmed a lower back sprain for Smith, who sat out Sunday's 121-99 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. He is receiving treatment and is considered day-to-day.
