Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement Neitzel-Imagn Images Tampa Bay Lightning forwards Brandon Hagel, Anthony Cirelli and Brayden Point will join head coach Jon Cooper on Team Canada, while two pairs of brothers will suit up for Team United States at the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off.
Rosters for the four-team event were revealed Wednesday. Finland and Sweden's respective squads were finalized earlier in the day for the tournament scheduled to take place in Montreal and Boston from Feb. 12-20.
Hagel (29 points), Cirelli (23) and Point (21) are among Tampa Bay's six scoring leaders and headline a vaunted Canadian attack that includes Edmonton's Connor McDavid, Florida's Sam Reinhart and Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon.
Point, McDavid and MacKinnon were added to the team in June, as were veteran captains Brad Marchand (Boston) and Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh).
MacKinnon will be joined by teammates Cale Makar and Devon Toews, who lead a cast of defensemen along Vegas standouts Alex Pietrangelo and Shea Theodore and Winnipeg's Josh Morrissey.
The United States' family ties feature New Jersey forward Jack Hughes and Vancouver defenseman Quinn Hughes, as well as Ottawa forward Brady Tkachuk and Florida forward Matthew Tkachuk.
Quinn and Matthew were among two of the United States' six June additions.
The New York Rangers will have the most players donning the stars and stripes, with forwards Chris Kreider and Vincent Trocheck teaming up with defenseman Adam Fox, another early addition.
The tournament will replace the NHL All-Star game for the 2025 season and is positioned as a showcase leading up to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
Canada opens against Sweden on Feb. 12 in Montreal, which is where the U.S. will battle Finland the following night. The U.S. and Canada will square off Feb. 15 in Montreal.
