Canada Wins World Juniors; Swedish Captain Hurls Silver Medal Away

Canada claimed the world junior hockey championship tonight with a 3-1 win over Sweden, and a distraught Swedish captain Lias Andersson wanted nothing to do with his silver medal—first attempting to not even have it placed around his neck, before immediately chucking it over the glass where a happy Buffalonian (we’re assuming) immediately started wearing it.
