Canucks Goalie Gives Up Score On Shot From Center Ice
The Vancouver Canucks are still capable of giving up bizarre goals, even with Roberto Luongo out of town.
Calgary's Brian McGrattan wasn't even in the offensive zone when he took a shot, but it somehow got past Canucks goalie Eddie Lack for a 1-0 lead. Whoops.
The goal was goofy, but it still wasn't nearly as soft as the one back in October, when Dan Hamhuis and Jason Garrison combined for an own goal on Luongo. That quality of stupid probably won't be matched this season.
Lack took the screwup in stride—it was probably easier to cope since the Canucks ended up winning, 2-1—and channeled his inner Strombone on Twitter. He's fitting right in!
