Carson Wentz Tore His ACL And The Eagles Have To Use Nick Foles, Again
Photo: Jeff Gross/ [object Object] Eagles QB Carson Wentz had to leave Sunday’s game with a knee injury, and the citizens of Philadelphia waited with bated breath and clenched buttholes for any updates, hopefully not involving any three-letter medical abbreviations. But the news today wasn’t good: Wentz is done for the year.
The 11-2 Eagles, who have already clinched the NFC East, now turn to Nick Foles, who once threw for 27 touchdowns and two picks in 2013 for Philly and has done nothing of note since. The team also has a warm body in former Indiana QB Nate Sudfeld and could also sign another quarterback, should any talented players be available.
