Chip Kelly Backs Colin Kaepernick, Terrible Columnist Fusses Like A Baby
[object Object] n Press Democrat columnist Lowell Cohn is one of the very worst sportswriters in the business—he’s the dude who once compared PED users to murderers—so it’s no surprise that he has a problem with Colin Kaepernick. In fact, ol’ Lowell is so steamed about this issue that he felt it necessary to lecture 49ers coach Chip Kelly during Kelly’s press conference today.
Kelly was asked a few questions about Kaepernick’s decision to protest the national anthem, and the coach expressed solidarity with his player:
Well, I think it’s an issue. You look at what’s gone on in Tulsa and Charlotte in the last two nights; it’s an issue that’s at the forefront of our country in that it needs to be addressed, it needs to be taken care of because what’s going on is not right. I think, again, he’s shedding light on a situation that is heinous and shouldn’t happen in this country. We all have inalienable rights as a citizen of this country and they’re being violated and that’s what I think Colin is standing up for.
And that’s when Lowell the pissbaby came in hot, lecturing an incredulous Kelly about ... well, just watch it:
What a dink.
