Chris Iannetta Hospitalized After Taking Fastball To The Face
Via [object Object] Diamondbacks catcher Chris Iannetta had a scare Friday night when he took a 93-mph fastball directly to the face, laying him out and giving him a terrifyingly bloodied nose:
Iannetta was taken to the hospital and the team has not released any news on his condition, but the fact that he was able to walk off the field on his own seemingly bodes well.
Update (5:45 p.m. ET): Sounds like he’s doing pretty good for the circumstances, all things considered.
