College Golf Team Qualifies For Nationals, Celebrates By Dufnering
The Parkland College (Illinois) golf team qualified for nationals this year and will compete for a national championship. Here's the postseason-bound squad celebrating with a pretty great Dufnering picture.
Back in April, head coach head coach Zach McNabney was feeling confident about the looming regionals, and qualifying for nationals, after his surging team won its conference tournament.
"I am always excited for the post-season," McNabney said. "Each season we strive to make nationals and win a national championship. Each season we have headed into regionals and had a chance, some years a better chance than others but we have always been in the mix."
Today, McNabney posted the Dufnering pic to his Facebook account and congratulated the team on making good on his hopes.
Congratulations to the Parkland Golf team who won Region 24 to qualify for Nationals and also to Lyle Burns who won individual honors
Forget fist pumps, all major golf achievements should be celebrated by Dufnering.
