Columnist: Yasiel Puig Threatens To "Unravel Team" By Not Stretching
Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig arrived late to the stadium ahead of his team's home opener at Dodger Stadium today. Los Angeles Daily News columnist Jill Painter believes that this infraction threatens to unravel the Dodgers.
According to Painter, when the Dodgers took the field to stretch at 9:40 a.m., Puig was still in the locker room getting dressed. He did manage to make it out onto the field in time for batting practice, but by that point Don Mattingly had already decided to bench him for today's game. Painter is really worked up about this:
Puig should explain to fans why he's not in the lineup. He cheated everyone out of watching his antics — both dazzling and disturbing — in the home opener. Shame on him. Puig needs to think about someone other himself for a change, and the Dodgers need to babysit him by the hour.

Either that or the Dodgers are going to come crashing down with him.
Look, someone could write a whole lot about what's wrong with this, but instead, let's just make writing columns about Yasiel Puig illegal. That would probably be best for everyone.
