Connor McDavid's 3 points propel Oilers past Kings

Edmonton (44-23-4, 92 points) leads the Vegas Golden Knights by four points for second place in the Pacific Division, while Los Angeles (38-23-11, 87 points) is one point behind Vegas.
Evan Bouchard had a goal and an assist for the Oilers, who have won four of six. Cody Ceci and Adam Henrique netted goals, Leon Draisaitl had three assists and Stuart Skinner made 32 saves, including 14 in the third period.
Arthur Kaliyev scored for the Kings, who had won four straight. Cam Talbot stopped 16 shots.
The Oilers converted one of their two power plays while the Kings went 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
McDavid gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead at 5:37 of the first period. Mattias Ekholm's slap shot from the point was blocked in front, and McDavid got to the loose puck and scored with a backhand shot.
McDavid (27 goals, 95 assists) became the seventh player in NHL history to record three or more consecutive 120-point seasons. He has 16 points (two goals, 14 assists) during a six-game point streak.
Skinner made a series of big saves with just over a minute remaining in the second period, and then Henrique made it 2-0 with 16 seconds left. Draisaitl received pass at the point, skated down and around the back of the net and his centering pass deflected in of Henrique.
Draisaitl has 10 points (five goals, five assists) during a six-game point streak.
Bouchard made it 3-0 at 5:05 of the third period, scoring on a one-timer from the right circle off a pass from McDavid behind the end line during a power play.
Kaliyev pulled the Kings within 3-1 at 13:47. Quinton Byfield got to a turnover in the corner and centered the puck to Kaliyev, who one-timed it past Skinner from the slot.
Ceci scored into an empty net with 41 seconds left.
