Cops: All-SEC Ole Miss Offensive Lineman Punched Stepfather
Oxford police took Ole Miss junior offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil into custody and charged him with domestic violence after a Thursday incident that allegedly featured the All-SEC lineman punching his stepfather.
ESPN cites a source stating Tunsil threw the punch in defense of his mother; Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze says Tunsil and his mom are pressing charges against the stepfather, Lindsey Miller. But Miller told the that he was attacked by Tunsil, who struck him “six to seven times.” A judge issued a restraining order against Tunsil on Friday. ESPN projects him to be the fourth overall pick in next year’s NFL draft.
