Crane Collapse At Brazil World Cup Stadium Kills 3
A construction accident at a Sao Paolo stadium scheduled to host the opening ceremony of next summer's World Cup killed three workers, according to an official statement, and that number could rise.
It's not yet clear precisely what happened, but early reports say a crane was lifting a section of the stadium roof into place when it buckled, collapsing into the stadium itself. According to Lucas Sposito, a Brazilian journalist, construction on Arena Corinthians was almost complete and some workers were already celebrating the end of the job with the accident occurred.
