My first thought was that this was a low blow, but you know what? Fuck that. A large part of Simmons’s career was being a know-it-all who trashes TV people for being dummies, and then he got his chance, and he was a million times worse than any of them. Collinsworth had the right—the duty—to fire back with no one cares what you have to say, and your ratings proved it.

Collinsworth deleted the tweet within 15 minutes, because TV people are weenies and always end up apologizing for saying anything interesting on Twitter.
