Cubs Spring Training Game Overrun By Bees
Screencap [object Object] Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. I say it will end when our bee overlords choose to end it. That might already be underway at Sloan Park during this afternoon’s Cubs-Mariners game. Jason Heyward was the first victim, and he had to climb the outfield fence to avoid them.
The game was delayed ten minutes, and after it resumed, Heyward hit a dinger. Bees can’t keep him down. Speaking of bees, look at all these bees!
They’ve annexed the left field bullpen, it’s theirs now, so the Cubs’ relievers who were there have taken off, graciously ceding the territory to the insects. Man’s only hope? The mighty blanket.
