Dale Scott left the field in Toronto tonight on a stretcher as the 31-year veteran umpire took a foul tip directly to the face.

EMTs immobilized Scott’s head and neck as they strapped him down for removal from the field. If more information on his condition becomes available, we’ll update this post.
