Dallas Keuchel Got Hurt In The Astros’ Championship Parade
Tim Warner/ [object Object] The Houston Astros confirmed earlier this week that Dallas Keuchel has a minor foot injury. The pitcher, an all-star this season who started two games in the World Series, got hurt in a curious way: He fell during the championship parade and sprained his ankle.
The team had to confirm the injury because of a report from O.J. Simpson fansite TMZ over the weekend. The site caught up with Keuchel in Los Angeles, and he told TMZ he “slipped and fell… during the parade.”
Keuchel has been in a walking boot for the past few weeks. The team says the injury isn’t serious—besides being serious enough to force Keuchel to wear an air cast—and shouldn’t impact his offseason workout regimen.
