Dan Le Batard Went For Rob Manfred's Neck

On today’s edition of the Dan Le Batard Show, ESPN radio host Dan Le Batard got to interview MLB commissioner Rob Manfred about the Miami Marlins. Things got heated very quickly.

Le Batard, like many Marlins fans, is not happy about the fact that Manfred approved the sale of the team to an ownership group that needed to take on massive amounts of debt in order to complete the sale. That set of circumstances, particularly in South Florida, seemed like an obvious precursor to massive payroll slashing, which is something the Marlins are indeed in the middle of doing right now.

If what’s happening to the Marlins right now makes you angry, then you will very much enjoy Le Batard grilling Manfred in the clip above. If nothing else, it’s nice to see a guy who isn’t used to squirming made to squirm.
