Daniel Murphy Freezes Yoenis Cespedes With The Ole Fake Throw Trick
Screencap [object Object] NL hitting leader Daniel Murphy and his new buddies on the Washington Nationals are in New York to take on the Mets, for whom Murphy jerked some postseason dongs last year. Washington put a whooping on New York last night, and they’re up big tonight thanks to Matt Harvey’s bad start.
In the second inning, Murphy get devious and froze a running Yoenis Cespedes in his tracks with a dastardly fake-out. Cespedes maybe could have gotten to third after Neil Walker lined it into right, but Murphy made sure he didn’t.
Baseball’s fun again, or something.
