DC Comics Claims Valencia's New Crest Looks Too Much Like Batman Logo

Actually, we can answer that ourselves. La Liga club Valencia have sought to trademark a new iteration of their crest featuring the bat you see to the right up there. DC Comics is challenging the mark, saying it bears too much of a resemblance to their Batman logo.
The use of a bat in the crests, badges, and shields of the Valencian community and the surrounding areas goes back hundreds of years, so it's not like the club saw The Dark Knight and thought oooh oooh, let's take that! They do already have a trademark on this version of their crest, after all:
And we don't even think the new version looks all that similar to the Batman logo. Verdict for Valencia.
