DeMarcus Cousins Shows Off A Range Of Emotions After His Fouls
Photo Credit: Rich Pedroncelli/ [object Object] Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins led the NBA with 17 technical fouls last season, so he’s well acquainted with the art of getting T’d up. But with his first one of this season, in the second quarter of Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cousins debuted a new reaction: the chill, it’s-all-good smile and thumbs up to the official.
Cousins was perfectly calm and at ease for the rest of the night—or at least until he picked up two fouls in the fourth quarter’s final minute and fouled out with the Kings holding onto a four-point lead. Say what you will about reacting by marching through rows of the stands in anger, but the guy retrieved the mouthguard he’d thrown into the crowd.
Cousins finished his night with 29 points and seven rebounds as the Kings pulled off the victory, 106-103.
