Derek Jeter's Marlins Town Hall Meeting Sounds Like A Beautiful Stupid Mess

Though he didn’t mention it during that talk, Jeter’s vision of post-dream career professional fulfillment apparently includes the opportunity to spend an hour and a half answering the questions of aggrieved Marlins fans. That’s what he did tonight, in a town hall meeting for season ticket holders, and by all accounts, it seems that he was repeatedly and thoroughly owned. The Marlins barred media from taking video of the event, but there are still plenty of quality textual dispatches from inside, and boy, are they a delight.
How could Jeter not feel professionally fulfilled after an evening like this?
