Did Phil Jackson Leave This Flirty Note In A Cabin?
A reader who recently stayed at a rental cabin high in California’s Sierra Nevada discovered a note during his stay, lodged in a book called Cabin Porn: Inspiration for Your Quiet Place Somewhere. The message appears to be former Lakers head coach Phil Jackson suggesting, in his own way, that some unknown person might be interested in the pipe.
Judging from the list of Lakers championships at the bottom of the note—the last one in 2001—this appears to be a mid-threepeat relic. From the tipster:
Mindlessly sifting through the book, a folded note falls out, in Los Angeles Lakers letterhead along with a name stamp of none other than the Zen Master himself, Phil Jackson. Below is a picture of the letter, in which “PJ” appears to be putting on the full-court press.
Points are deducted for the repetition of “bed” when “mine” would have been much smoother.
