Dodgers’ Enrique Hernandez (elbow) comes off IL

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated utility man Enrique Hernandez from the injured list on Monday after he missed close to two months with left elbow inflammation.
Hernandez, who last appeared for the Dodgers on July 5, made five appearances on a rehab stint with Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he batted .357 with two doubles and three RBIs.
The 34-year-old was not in the starting lineup for the Dodgers on Monday night against the visiting Cincinnati Reds but could be available off the bench.
Before landing on the IL, Hernandez was batting .195 with eight home runs and 22 RBIs through 71 games for Los Angeles. He's in his ninth season with the Dodgers across two different stints (2015-20, 2023-25).
In a corresponding move, the Dodgers designated infielder Buddy Kennedy for assignment.
Kennedy, 26, appeared in seven games for the Dodgers earlier this month after they selected him off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays. He went 1-for-17 with one RBI in that time.
