Dodgers to start RHP Walker Buehler in Game 3 at New York

The Los Angeles Dodgers will start right-hander Walker Buehler in Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night at Yankee Stadium in New York.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts opted for Buehler against the Yankees instead of going with a bullpen game.
"I think it's just we love Walker in big games," Roberts said of the choice. "The road isn't going to faze him. It also allows him potentially to be available for a Game 7 too."
Buehler, 30, is 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA in two starts this postseason, both on the road. Overall, he is 3-4 with a 3.25 ERA in 17 career playoff starts.
New York previously tabbed right-hander Clarke Schmidt to be the Game 3 starter. Schmidt, 28, is 0-0 with a 3.86 ERA in two starts this postseason. Overall, he is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in five playoff appearances (two starts).
Game 2 is Saturday night in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles won Game 1 in dramatic fashion when Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning to account for a 6-3 victory.
