Dolphins Waive Rey Maualuga Following Battery Charge

Photo credit: Bob Leverone/ [object Object] Dolphins linebacker Rey Maualuga was reportedly arrested early Saturday morning and charged with battery after an incident at a Miami club, per reports:
The Dolphins responded to the arrest by waiving Maualuga this afternoon, per ESPN. Maualuga signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins this offseason, and started four games for Miami’s 17th-ranked defense, recording 23 tackles.
