Don King Says "Nigger" While Introducing Donald Trump

Donald Trump, a big scarecrow made of uncooked bratwursts, is still trying to court black voters. To that end, he had undead boxing promoter Don King introduce him to an audience gathered at a church in Cleveland, Ohio this morning.

King rambled like a drunk uncle for a few minutes, and got a big reaction from the crowd when he accidentally said “nigger” when he meant to say “Negro”:

Trump loved it!

Anyway, the trouble with trying to describe the sheer absurdity of a presidential candidate cozying up to someone as toxic and criminal as Don King is this: King’s despicable body of work is so expansive that trying to hang his reputation on any one transgression only works to cloud your view of all the other horrible shit he’s done. King once stomped a guy to death outside of a bar, and I’m not even sure that’s his primary disqualification from being a political surrogate.

I guess the simplest way to describe Don King is to say that he is a violent, sociopathic grifter who made a living by taking advantage of everyone he could—including countless punch-drunk boxers—and a career out of manipulating the press and leeching off the success of people with actual talent. He and Trump make a perfect pair.
