Donald Sterling's Stink Is Fading From The Clippers

Donald Sterling's son-in-law Eric Miller left the Clippers this summer, new owner Steve Ballmer told the LA Times Wednesday. Miller was the team's Director of Basketball Administration last season, one of the more senior members of the Doc Rivers-helmed Basketball Operations department. Ballmer said that Miller was welcome to stay with the team in the wake of his father-in-law's racist comments (which Miller had previously repudiated), but instead "'he's chosen to move on with his life and that's his prerogative.'"

Ballmer also announced that long-time team president and Sterling confidante Andy Roeser—who joined the Clippers when they moved to Los Angeles in 1984—had left the team. Roeser was indefinitely suspended by the NBA the day after Commissioner Adam Silver announced he was stripping Donald Sterling of his team, and it was obvious Roeser had no future with the Clippers.

The Clippers aren't fully cleansed just yet: Shelly Sterling remains the team's official number one fan.
