Down Goes Sharapova! ...mmm

The U.S. Open's sex appeal took another big hit today when Maria Sharapova dropped a three set match to Agnieszka Radwanska an 18 year-old Polish girl in the third round. This is the biggest hit to the Open's overall sexiness since Marco Baghdatis got bounced before we all got another look at his girlfriend.

The young Pole looked assured on serve and always threatened the Sharapova serve as the older player made 11 double faults.

Sharapova saved three break points at 4-2 down but was unable to save a fourth and Radwanska showed a steely nerve as she served out the match.

So I guess the women's field is now even more of a crapshoot. I'm sticking to my guns and picking that foreign sounding chick. She's really good.
