Draymond Green Will Not Be Suspended For Game 4
Photo via [object Object] The Golden State Warriors are down 2-1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder and it looked for a while like they would have to try to claw their way back to even without their second-most important player after Draymond Green kneed Steven Adams in his dick and balls again. According to Woj, nah, he’ll play in Game 4.
The foul was, however, upgraded to a flagrant 2 and Green picked up a big fine.
Green has maintained that his knee only wedged itself into Adams’ crotch because he was flailing about looking for a foul and, despite the repeated dick mashings, the NBA says they believe him. Of course, a Green-free Game 4 wouldn’t have had nearly the entertainment value as it will now and that most likely played a part in the decision. The hefty fine seems like they were trying to punish him the most they could without actually keeping him from playing. You know that OKC fans will feel jilted by the ruling and mercilessly boo Green every time he does anything.
The Warriors faced 2-1 deficits twice in last year’s playoffs and won each Game 4 by an average of 19 points. Green held Zach Randolph to 12 points in Game 4 against the Grizzlies, and had decently helpful contributions to a 21-point win over Cleveland in the Finals. Against a big strong team like OKC, his size and versatility is more important than in either of those two previous series.
So, will Nazr Mohammed get a minute or two of floor time to come and wallop Draymond in his Greens? Probably.
