Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports The Houston Dynamo signed Honduran forward Exon Arzu through 2026 with club options through 2029.
He arrives on a full transfer from Real Club Deportivo Espana in Honduras, having been on loan with Dynamo 2 since the start of this season.
Arzu, 20, will occupy a U22 Initiative roster spot. He has been sidelined with an injury since late May.
"Exon is another positive example of our club providing professional opportunities for some of the most talented young players in Central and South America," Dynamo general manager Pat Onstad said in a news release Tuesday. "He is an explosive and tenacious winger with the ability to change games with his pace and aggressiveness to goal."
Arzu scored in each of the first two matches of the season for Dynamo 2. He joined the first team for friendlies in Mexico and a preseason match against Orlando City.
