Dynamo sign M Coco Carrasquilla to new contract

The deal announced Monday with the 25-year-old Panama international includes club options for 2026 and 2027.
Carrasquilla posted career highs with three goals and eight assists in 25 matches (22 starts) for Houston last season.
"Coco is an exceptional talent, who is garnering significant international attention for his performances for both club and country over the past couple years," said Dynamo general manager Pat Onstad. "Extending Coco's deal was a priority for us this offseason, as he is an integral part of one of the best midfields in the league and a key contributor to our recent success."
Carrasquilla has recorded six goals and 12 assists in 67 matches (56 starts) since launching his MLS career with the Dynamo in 2021.
