Eagles C Cam Jurgens undergoes back procedure

Philadelphia Eagles center Cam Jurgens underwent a procedure to alleviate nerve pain in his back on Tuesday, nine days after he played in Super Bowl LIX.
Per a report from ESPN on Thursday, Jurgens is expected to make a full recovery in time for training camp in July.
Jurgens, 25, replaced the retired Jason Kelce to start the season and earned a Pro Bowl nod after starting all 16 games in which he played.
Jurgens dealt with the injury throughout the playoffs. Although he was unable to start in the NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders, he entered the game in place of Landon Dickerson after the latter sustained a knee injury.
Jurgens has started 27 of the 44 games in which he has played since being selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Nebraska.
