The 21-year-old British player retired from her Korea Open quarterfinal Saturday against Daria Kasatkina.
"Last week in Seoul I sprained some ligaments in my foot which unfortunately need some more time to heal," she posted Monday on X. "It means I can't play in Beijing but I hope to be back competing as soon as I can."
Action at the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing begins on Wednesday. Raducanu had been scheduled to face a qualifier in the first round.
Raducanu won her only WTA Tour title to date at the 2021 U.S. Open.
