Ernie Banks Joined Pearl Jam On Stage At Wrigley
Pearl Jam played a rain-delayed show at Wrigley Field Friday night and before Eddie Vedder began singing the Cubs tribute song " All The Way," he introduced Ernie Banks, to the delight of the Chicago crowd.
After the song—which, legend has it, Vedder penned after Banks asked him to write a song about the Cubs—Banks told the crowd the glove he was holding belonged to five-year-old Eddie Vedder and that he would be taking it home with him. That's a pretty cool souvenir for both guys.
