The 40-year-old man with the dragon tattoo

The quarterback’s tattoo artist shared pictures of the tattoo and the process of doing it on his left bicep on his Instagram yesterday. The artwork is a dragon positioned in the shape of the number eight, a nod to Rodgers’ jersey number with the Jets.
“Second tattoo for the 🐐 himself @aaronrodgers12,” the caption of the post reads.
The artist, Balazs Bercsenyi, did Rodgers’ first tattoo as well. The first tattoo is on the inside of Rodgers’ left forearm, and has two lions facing each other with an eye looming at the top, along with a bunch of other intricate lines and details, like constellations.
The 40-year-old signal-caller was eyeing a return to the football field this season, after tearing his Achilles in the first game of the season for the Jets this year, but it now seems even more unlikely. The Jets have a 21 percent chance of making the playoffs this season if they win their next six games, according to The New York Times’ playoff simulator. The variables can play out any way, but if they don’t win for the next few weeks, the playoff hunt is over and Rodgers will have to try to accomplish what he wanted to do this season next year.
