Mike Ditka Apparently Doesn't Give A Fuck Where He Leaves His Cigars

Conan O'Brien sidekick Andy Richter took to Twitter late Wednesday night to tell a pretty funny story about Mike Ditka.

That does sound pretty senselessly arrogant and aggressive! Back when this commercial was filmed—the late 1980s—Ditka wasn't yet the "polished" media presence he is today, as these angry outtakes from a 1993 appearance on SNL attest to. We couldn't find video of the commercial, but a 1989 Chicago Tribune article describes Ditka's work with Peak, and concerns about him being overburdened with endorsement responsibilities.
