T.J. Houshmandzadeh claims his last name was stolen by 'obsessed' fan

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the former Cincinnati Bengals receiver claims the fan has stolen his last name and harassed his family for nearly a decade.
Houshmandzadeh was initially granted a restraining order in 2015 against the woman, but it expired in 2019. The former receiver claims that 53-year-old Annette Marie Houshmandzadeh — formerly Annette Selkirk — legally changed her last name after she developed a “bizarre and extreme obsession” with him and his family.
Following the restraining order’s expiration, Houshmandzadeh claims that the fan continued harassing him and his family. The longtime Cincinnati Bengal alleges the woman has posed as the mother of his children online, made contact with his wife, and sent harassing mail and personal items to his home.
Houshmandzadeh once received a letter in which Annette stated she had “several bullets inscribed with the names of each member of the Houshmandzadeh family.”
The Pro Bowl receiver is asking a judge to order the woman to stay at least 500 yards away from him and his family. He also insists she stop using his last name to try and gain access to his family’s personal affairs.
Houshmandzadeh, an 11-year pro, has yet to publicly address the situation. The seventh-rounder ranks ninth all-time in Bengals career receiving yards (5,782) and sixth all-time in Bengals career touchdown receptions (37). His breakout 2007 season—112 receptions for 1,143 yards and 12 touchdowns—earned him his lone Pro Bowl nomination of his career.
