ESPN Cutting Off Bill Simmons Calls For A Sopranos Parody

Last night's curious incident in which Bill Simmons's thoughts on "The Decision" went off into the ether led us (and many commenters) to draw comparisons to the final episode of The Sopranos.

Certainly that's a series weighing on our minds since this week's sudden death of star James Gandolfini, and it seemed perfect enough to speculate on where Simmons went—especially since when the coverage from Miami returned, the Sports Guy was nowhere to be seen. (He did, eventually, return, though we're still waiting to hear what he was about to say. We're not holding our breaths.)
