ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown Acquires A Collinsworth
Screencap via [object Object] The Collinsworth arms race has heated up. NBC’s Sunday Night Football has Cris, and as of this afternoon, ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown has Jac, son of Cris. That’s Jac up top (he’s the one on the right.) ESPN announced today that Jac would be joining the show to work as a features reporter, working on stories that will air during ESPN’s NFL preview show. He spent the past few years working for NBC here and there.
Collinsworth worked as an assistant sideline producer for NBC broadcasts of Notre Dame football from 2013-16, and he was a sideline reporter for NBC telecasts of the Notre Dame Blue-Gold spring football game in 2016 and 2017. Collinsworth covered the 2016 Summer Games in Rio as NBC Olympics’ first ever social media correspondent. In Rio, Collinsworth interviewed athletes as a part of the Olympic Late Night with Ryan Seacrest team.
Other media companies need not worry, there are a few more Collinsworth children for hire.
