Ezekiel Elliott Kinda Owned Kam Chancellor
Last night, the Cowboys played the Seahawks in each team’s third preseason game, a.k.a The One Where The Starters Play Until Halftime. In the backfield for Dallas was Ezekiel Elliot, making his pro debut. In the secondary for Seattle was Kam Chancellor, trying extremely hard to pull some “welcome to the NFL” business on the Cowboys’ hotshot rookie. Alas.
As you can see in the clips below, Elliott sorta fucked Chancellor up the two times they bashed heads like some mad, horny rams. Here is Zeke pushing Chancellor back several yards:
Here he is throwing his back and neck directly into Chancellor, which seems like a bad idea, frankly, but it really worked out:
In between those two plays, Chancellor naturally managed to land a cheap shot:
After the game, Chancellor expressed his begrudging respect for Elliott. Via the :
“I didn’t know if he was going to juke me or not, so I was a little surprised. But not the second time. Second time you know I’m bringing that wood. I was a little surprised the first time, but he has a lot of courage for that. I’ll give it to him. But if it was a full game, it would have been a bloodbath.”
Ezekiel Elliott earned that weed.
