Ezequiel Carrera Does Jim Edmonds Proud With Ridiculous Diving Catch

Tigers outfielder Ezequiel Carrera laid out to rob Jacoby Ellsbury of a bases-clearing extra-base hit, and somehow snagged it in the heel of his glove. It was a damn fine catch.

In true Jim Edmonds fashion, Carrera probably wouldn't have had to dive if he took a straight line and got underneath it. But give the dude a break—he only made his Tigers debut three days ago, and sometimes highlights are worth the effort.
