Fan Dies From Upper-Deck Fall At Turner Field
A man is in critical condition (update: police have since confirmed the man died) after he fell "at least 30 feet" from the upper deck at Turner Field tonight. Details are sparse, but according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the man was transported to the hospital around 9:00 p.m.
It was just over five years ago that a fan died when he fell 150 feet from the upper deck at Turner Field.
We will update as information becomes available.
Update 11:15 p.m.: Multiple outlets are now reporting that the fan has died. The man was transported to Atlanta Medical Center and later died as a result of his injuries. Police do not suspect any foul play.
