Farewell To The Old Man At Spring Break
Well, that's the conclusion of Pat Jordan's "Down And Out In Daytona" series. I hope you people enjoyed it as much as we did. Maybe we'll get to do something like this again when we have more money to spend.
A million thank yous to Pat and his wife Susan for being so enthusiastic about doing this project. Special thanks to Craggs for transcribing the 25-page fax and for initially throwing Pat Jordan's name out there when I asked "Who's an old writer we could send down to Spring Break?". Also thanks to Alex Belth for approaching Pat for us and for sending over dozens of old stories. And here's a picture of Pat's firearm sleeping in the back of the cargo van:
I'm glad he didn't have to use it.

Tomorrow, we'll wrap up our Spring Break coverage and do the usual Saturday lazybones blogging. Oh also — it appears the popular rumor as to who Paris Hilton was getting doggy-boinked by in the dressing room was the lead singer of Lit. Please tell me why.
Thanks for your continued support of Deadspin. Onward.
