Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports Adrian Wilson, who was recently dismissed from his position as vice president of player personnel with the Carolina Panthers, was arrested on three domestic violence charges last month, a police spokesperson said Tuesday.
The Scottsdale (Ariz.) Police Department said Wilson faces misdemeanor charges of intentional assault causing physical injury, damaging property between $250 and $2,000 and disorderly conduct (disruptive behavior or fighting).
Wilson, 44, was arrested at his home just after 6 a.m. on June 1, the spokesperson confirmed to The Athletic on Tuesday.
Wilson is a 13-year NFL veteran who played safety for the Arizona Cardinals and spent 2013 with New England, though he was on injured reserve and missed the season. Arizona inducted the five-time Pro Bowl selection and 2009 first-team All-Pro into the Cardinals Ring of Honor in 2015.
After working as a scout for the Cardinals and being promoted to vice president of pro scouting in 2021, Wilson joined the Panthers' front office last year. Carolina confirmed on Sunday that Wilson was no longer employed by the organization.
The Panthers did not have further comment Tuesday when asked if they had known about Wilson's arrest.
