Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Preston Edwards was sent-off, but the true villain of the piece is the left-back. No.3 — damn right you should hold your head in your hands.

Edwards seems to have calmed down a bit now and told BBC Kent:

"I'd like to be known for better, different reasons, but it's happened. I've got to take it on the chin. At least I've got something in history."
