Goals are plentiful for Blues in win over struggling Ducks

Mandatory Credit: Jeff Curry-Imagn Images Dylan Holloway and Jake Neighbours each had a goal and an assist as the St. Louis Blues rolled past the visiting Anaheim Ducks 7-2 on Sunday.
The Blues won their 10th straight game against the Ducks and improved to 9-2-2 overall in their last 13 games.
Brayden Schenn, Pavel Buchnevich, Radek Faksa, Mathieu Joseph and Oskar Sundqvist also scored for St. Louis. Jordan Kyrou earned three assists and Justin Faulk had two.
Jordan Binnington stopped 23 shots to earn the victory
Cutter Gauthier had a goal and an assist, Nikita Nesterenko scored and Mason McTavish earned two assists for the Ducks, who lost for the fifth time in seven games.
Lukas Dostal allowed five goals on 14 shots in two periods for Anaheim before Ville Husso replaced him.
After being honored in pregame ceremonies for passing the 1,000-game milestone, Schenn scored 41 seconds into the game. Holloway cut to the middle of the ice and slid a pass to Schenn at the right post.
Just 49 seconds later, the Blues made it 2-0. Neighbours rushed up the left wing and set up the redirection by Buchnevich.
St. Louis took a three-goal lead with a power-play goal at the 8:19 mark of the second period. Faulk set up Holloway's one-time blast from the right face-off dot.
Anaheim cut the lead to 3-1 less than two minutes later. Radko Gudas shot from the right point and Gauthier converted the rebound.
The Blues made it 4-1 with 4:21 left in the second period. Nathan Walker shoveled the puck into the crease and Faksa jammed it into the net.
Joseph made it 5-1 by racing up the right wing for a short-handed goal less than 3 minutes later.
Anaheim cut the lead to 5-2 early third period. McTavish shot from the right wall and Nesterenko deflected it in. But the Blues pushed their lead to 7-2 with power-play goals by Neighbours and Sundqvist.
