Harry Reid Wants The Nevada Attorney General's Office To Investigate The Judging In Pacquiao-Bradley
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has called upon his state's attorney general to launch an investigation into the judges who whiffed on the decision in Pacquiao-Bradley Saturday night.
According to The Hill, Reid wants to ensure that nothing "untoward" influenced the judges' scoring of the fight. Reid doesn't believe that bribery or any other foul play took place, but he still believes that Nevada should investigate to cheer everyone up.
Via The Hill:
"Our attorney general is a wonderful woman. She'll do her best. I feel confident there's been nothing untoward but if an investigation makes everyone feel better, do the investigation," Reid told reporters.
It doesn't quite match the futility of the government's attempts to burn Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds at the stake for taking steroids and fumbling their lines, but it's close!
